The legal framework under which AtlanticBay is provided to you. Please read these terms before using the platform.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AtlanticBay website and free social gaming platform (the "Service") operated by AtlanticBay from 145 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Your access to and use of AtlanticBay constitutes your agreement to these Terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately and leave this website. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and any other individuals who access the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time as described in section 8. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend you review this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.
AtlanticBay is strictly available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By passing our age verification gate and continuing to use the Service, you confirm and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We have implemented a mandatory age-confirmation step that must be completed before the platform becomes accessible.
If we have reason to believe that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to restrict or terminate access without prior notice. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that minors in their care do not circumvent our age gate. The 18+ restriction exists not because real money is involved — it is not — but because the visual format of our game resembles entertainment platform entertainment, and we believe responsible exposure to that format requires adult judgment and awareness.
AtlanticBay is a free-to-play social entertainment platform. It is not a play platform, a real-money entertainment platform, or any form of financial service. All credits displayed within the game are entirely virtual, have no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged, withdrawn, or converted into any form of real-world currency or asset under any circumstances.
No deposit of any kind is possible on AtlanticBay. There is no payment mechanism anywhere on the platform. No purchases of virtual credits, bonus tokens, or any other in-game asset can be made. Credits reset freely at the start of every session, and no credit balance carries meaningful real-world significance.
No prizes are offered, implied, or withheld on AtlanticBay. The game's outcome — whether a combination of symbols qualifies as a "win" within the game engine — has no effect on anything outside the game itself. Displaying a "win" animation is part of the entertainment experience only and does not constitute the award of anything of value.
You may use AtlanticBay solely for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission. Automated access to the platform — including scraping, crawling, or data-harvesting — is prohibited without prior written consent.
You further agree not to copy, extract, reverse-engineer, decompile, or distribute any game assets including but not limited to symbol graphics, animation files, sound files, or game logic. You may not frame or mirror any content from the Service on any other website or server. Violation of these permitted-use conditions may result in your access being permanently blocked.
All original content on AtlanticBay — including the game engine, the Atlantic Neon design system, the platform layout, copy, and brand assets — is owned by AtlanticBay or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use any AtlanticBay trademark, logo, or brand name without prior written consent.
Certain components are used under open-source licences. Bootstrap 5.3 is distributed under the MIT Licence. Font Awesome 6.4 free icons are distributed under the CC BY 4.0 and MIT licences. Emoji symbols are from Twemoji, also distributed under CC BY 4.0. These licences are acknowledged in our footer and do not grant any broader rights to third parties using our platform.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We make no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or performance. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time and without prior notice. We also reserve the right to alter gameplay mechanics, change the visual design, or remove features without notice, and we are not liable for any such changes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Ontario and Canadian law, AtlanticBay and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruptions, computer damage, or any and all other commercial damages or losses.
Because AtlanticBay does not involve real money in any form, there is no financial loss that could arise from normal use of the platform. Any claim of financial harm from use of AtlanticBay would need to arise from circumstances entirely outside the platform itself, and we accept no liability for such circumstances.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If we make changes that significantly affect your rights or the nature of the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate those changes through a notice on the platform. However, we are not obligated to provide individual notice to all users, and continued use after posting constitutes acceptance regardless of whether you saw the notice.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to any conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
If you are accessing the Service from outside Canada, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable local laws. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in all jurisdictions.
